Invitation to Friends

Dear Friend,

I have just moved into Seberang Verden, and I must say that it is the best Utopian city which I have experienced. Seberang Verden means "Opposite World". Here, everything is the opposite of evil. Everything seems more relaxing and less stressful in this community. For example, last Saturday I went to school and they had us learn, but at the same time they let us choose what we would like to learn. My dad feels less stressed out as well. He can come home from work and not have to worry about money as much as people do in the current world.

Family is very important to us. We get to know each other a lot better. The whole community is my family. We get along and respect our beliefs. Our neighbors for example, are of the Hindu religion. Nobody has any bad remarks about them. In fact, we really respect them and they respect us. There is no possibility of war here in Seberang Verden. It is very peaceful.

This all sounds really nice right? Why don't you come live here? Anyone is allowed to live here in Seberang Verden as long as they follow the rules of the government. Your whole family can come here. In fact, if you move into the community for the first time, they'll give you your house free, and will pay for everything you need for the first year! Why would you refuse that? We respect that you have your beliefs in the current world, but this community will change your look on life. Why not give it a try? What do you have to lose? What do you think sounds better? A stressful world, or a peaceful world?

Thank you for reading my opinion on Seberang Verden. I hope I have influenced you to come live here, or at least visit. Seberang Verden is a great place, so please come visit soon. Seberang Verden can be the best experience of your life.

Your Friend...

The Ten Rules of Seberang Verden

Seberang Verden has developed the Ten Rules of Seberang Verden. These rules must be kept at all times, unless otherwise specified. The ten rules are:
1. Honor what you believe in. It is very important that everyone honors and practices their own belief. Otherwise, we would only have one faith in this community.
2. Honor what others believe in. Although you have your own belief, respect what others believe. If we do this, their will be peace.
3. Go to school/work when told to. We believe school should be only on the weekend and during our current summer vacation. School is important to our lives, so we believe we must go when required.
4. Everyone is required to be at home from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. With this rule, there will never be worries about criminal acts late at night.
5. Eat  healthy foods more than unhealthy foods. Many people today in our community eat less healthy. Because this is an opposite community, we believe healthy foods should be used more.
6. Keep the Golden Rule in your life. Treating others the way you'd like to be treated is what can keep our community close together.
7. Keep peace in the community at all times. We believe that peace is essential for all people. If peace is kept here in Seberang Verden, we will be able to function the way all humans should.
8. No gang like activities. We are all one. We are part of the Seberang Verden. There are no exclusive gangs. That does not mean we can't have exclusive groups such as faiths within our community. If approved by the government there can be an exclusive group which helps support Seberang Verden.
9. Avoid greed in your life. Money in our current world is what helps us through life. However, there are other things such as family which are far more important than money. These things make life less stressful. In Seberang Verden, citizens should spend time with people, rather than spending money on things.
10. Be involved with our community. It is important that each plays their own part. We are all required to speak and let others hear our decisions. Many in our community today decide they don't want to vote or participate. We want it to be the opposite.

These are the Ten Rules of Seberang Verden. We must remember them at all times. Consequences will vary if these are disobeyed. This is the way we live in Seberang  Verden.

Governing Body

Our governing body is one that will give everyone a fair chance to share their ideas in a political environment. We will be supporting a Direct Democracy where the people will be in power of what they want to happened and what they say. It will avoid any miscommunication by having representatives and all ideas will be considered and thought over. The decision making is up to the people. We will hold "town hall meetings" of sorts and let everyone pitch in their two cents. Then the people will vote on the subject and the votes will be counted and the majority will win. After that if there are any proposed compromises or amendments to the new law we will have another "town hall meeting" and let people propose the ideas that they have.We will then have a vote on the compromises and/or amendments and see if there is a mutual agreement on them. This way everyone has a part in the lawmaking process and everyone is happy to a certain degree. We believe in this system we will maximize peace and happiness. It will have its flaws but that will be voted upon and worked on by the people. We are confident that this will increase the happiness of the community. We also believe that this will be the most effective form of government for our Utopian Society.

Utopian Animal

The dove is the Utopian Animal for Seberang Verden. The dove is a biblical animal which represents peace. We hope to build a Utopia which is of peace and not of stress or contention. The pure white dove also represents perfection, and purity. We hope to become as perfect as possible in this Utopia, just as the pure white bird.

Utopian Motto and Seal

Our motto is "Forever Opposite! Don't look back". Our Seal represents unity and diversity. We all have an equal opportunity to have our voice heard, and we all have a common goal to express our opinions. The four hands holding represent unity and equality. The color of skin is irrelevant to the success of our society, so we embrace everyone and give equal opportunities.
