The Decleration of Independence

Seberang Verden is a Utopia which was formed, because we felt that our current society needed a change. There are many problems in our current society. The opposite of a problem is a solution. Therefore, if we had a solution for every problem in our society, life would be more enjoyable. We believe that a world with less problems and more solutions would most definitely make everyone happier.

Seberang Verden would invite many from different beliefs, colors and cultures to unite in this large Utopian society. We believe that this is a need which we need now at this time of our lives. Instead of criticizing each other's beliefs, Seberang Verden is a utopia where we can celebrate and learn more about the different cultures which surround us. With this love which is found in Seberang Verden, war would no longer be a problem in our lives.

We believe that in our society today, things should really be the opposite of what they are now. Citizens don't seem to be as happy as they should be. Many people have hate for one another. With these wrong feelings towards each other an opposite Utopia is necessary. It can change a citizen's view of life. We want to create a city of peace for all to enjoy.

Seberang Verden

We chose this name, Seberang Verden, because it means "opposite world" in Malay and Norwegian. We wanted to create a utopia of an alternate reality of our own world. We wanted it to be like our own world but all switched around. For example, summer vacation would be school and all the students would want to go to school. The rest of the year is our time off of school. However, if everything was opposite in our world now, crimes would be considered good. We would have more war and misery. This is the exact opposite of what we want. Therefore, we believe that if we do the opposite of the bad things on earth now, our community would be more peaceful. There wouldn't be an economic crisis and we would be a happy, profiting, healthy and happy society. Our politicians are not there to gain more power or control. They work because they want to help the public and make our world even better. Wars would be feared and avoided at all costs. The society is like a big family. Everyone knows everyone and we compromise on everything. Seberang Verden is our "City of Peace".
